Citi's Chief Information Security Office (CISO) focuses on safeguarding the cyber security of all technical assets, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to ensure top-notch security for clients. The Team: The CISO team is currently involved in innovative programs using cloud and container technologies to enhance security across Citi's operations. The position: This role is part of the Public Cloud Kubernetes Security team, responsible for enhancing the security of Kubernetes platforms offered by external cloud providers. The responsibilities include:- Designing, implementing, and testing security controls for cloud Kubernetes platforms
- Supporting existing security measures
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to assess platform security
- Communicating security issues to stakeholders
- Innovating and improving security designs and tools
- Creating custom tools using various technologies
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills
- 7+ years of industry experience
- Kubernetes and public cloud platform experience
- Familiarity with security fundamentals for Kubernetes and public cloud
- Ability to write security policies
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Golang, or Bash
- Experience with CI/CD and agile methodology
- Knowledge of build/release management
