Amazon Freight Europe is looking for a Finance Manager to join the Finance Strategy & Expansion team. The main focus is on externalising the freight business to offer customers a top-notch experience. The team is constantly innovating to provide a wider selection, quicker delivery, and better prices.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving profitability and customer satisfaction by shaping the transportation network's development, planning, and execution. You will work closely with Product, Program, Operations, and Commercial leaders across Europe and North America to define the expansion strategy.
As the Finance Manager, you will lead the long-term financial planning of Amazon Freight, collaborating with stakeholders to shape successful strategies and investments. Your role involves evaluating investments, expansion initiatives, and product offerings for optimal profitability.
Your insights and analyses will directly influence senior management decisions, guiding the company towards sustainable growth. You will need to operate in a dynamic environment, process complex data, identify key risks, and develop customer-centric solutions.
Key job responsibilities:
- Collaborate and influence senior business partners for tactical and strategic decisions
- Draft and present key documents to leadership, taking ideas from inception to implementation
- Enhance operating productivity by diving deep into processes and cost drivers

Basic qualifications:
- Experience in communicating results to senior leadership

- CPA certification
- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data and creating escalation plans
- Experience in various finance and accounting roles
