Our client is an accounting firm & they're seeking an apprentice to add to their team
Job Duties
- Performing reception and accounting work at the same time.
- To assist with photocopying/ Scanning
- Deal with posts and distribute them to the right people
- To assist in letter writing and quotes and any other tasks as required.
- Take messages upon staff requests
- Maintains safe and clean area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Provide wordprocessing and secretarial support
- Basic bookkeeping duties
- Sales ledger
- Purchase ledger
- Maintaining spreadsheets
- Managing daily incoming and outgoing post
- Verifying calculations, working with the accounts system
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries and direct them to appropriate person.
- To assist with photocopying/ Scanning
- Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
- Provide wordprocessing and secretarial support
Requirements:
- Communication
- Customer service skills
- Experience preferred but training to be provided
- Good time keeping skills
- Familiar with Microsoft office (excel) and Sage will be helpful.
- Good typing speed will be a good skill to have it.
- General knowledge of double entry of journals in accounts.
- A person with a good personality and seriousness towards responsibilities.
Apprenticeship Details
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
