This is an exciting role to support within in the restaurant team at a prestigious new restaurant opening in Kensington & Chelsea, bringing an Italian fine dining flavour to West London.


With a high-profile chef designing the food concept, this will be an incredible opportunity to work in a grade 2 listed iconic building, with an art gallery and patron programme offering attached.


You will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day restaurant operations, looking after our customers while they dine and drink in the restaurant.

Working with the team to prepare the restaurant before service, ensuring all stock and supplies are ready, POS systems are working, PDQ machines are charged etc.

Liaising with all team members including bar and kitchen teams.

Ladbroke Hall will offer exceptional service to its patrons and guests.

Responsibilities

The Waiter/Waitress will:

  • Run a section in service, staying attentive to guests
  • Take guests food and drink orders
  • Deliver high levels of hospitality and service
  • Table maintenance
  • Ensure guests have an excellent experience
  • Excellent menu knowledge with allergen experience
  • Support runners at the pass and bar when needed
  • Ensure tables are 'turned' in time for next seating
  • Work as 'training buddy' to new runners and waiter/waitress
  • Knowing your SOP manual inside and out
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed to maintain safe working conditions for all the team
  • Attend and participate in daily briefing

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working as a waiter/waitress in fine dining restaurants
  • Good knowledge of food and wine, with a passion for expanding your knowledge
  • An eye for detail, with the ability to look ahead and preempt issues or challenges
  • A positive attitude and willingness to be flexible in helping all other departments
  • Punctual, reliable, diplomatic and calm under pressure
  • A great memory for names and faces
  • You will need to be an excellent communicator with great organisational skills

Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
