We are working with our client who are a successful oil and gas/renewables business in the search for an Assistant General Manager

You will be a key member of the management team and will be responsible for directing and overseeing all operational planning teams and activities within the business ensuring compliance, risk mitigation and safety.

Understand and manage financial performance in line with the budgets, track and report on variances and proactively review to meet, or exceed, KPI's and targets.

Oversee the programming and delivery of work, liaising with other departmental managers to ensure effective and efficient working, and utilisation of resources.

Manage and protect assets within the business

Provide a main point of contact for key customers, building and maintaining relationships, and attending client meetings representing the business, providing business reports and briefings as required.

Proven experience within with an operational environment at management level.
Developed commercial and financial understanding, with the ability to understand influences and impacts on costs / revenue.
Management qualification and relevant industry qualifications desirable, and / or relevant Oil Gas / Renewable industry experience.
