We are currently looking for a skilled NodeJS Developer to join the Cloud team in the R&D department of a reputable company based in Lancashire. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our Cloud connected systems and digital services by contributing to a range of exciting projects.

• Key responsibilities include:
• Experience in RESTful API development with NodeJS and related frameworks like Express
• Design and implementation of new features for the Cloud service
• Enhancing existing functionality to provide more value to customers
• Implementing architectural improvements
• Tackling system defects and finding solutions
• Working in an Agile environment, delivering regularly in Sprints
• Supporting deployments in development and Live environments

The ideal candidate will have:

• Requirements:
• Strong expertise in functional and object-oriented JavaScript, with knowledge of ES6 Features
• Proficiency in SQL including writing and optimizing complex SQL statements
• Strong analytical and debugging abilities
• Experience with interface designs and user interactions
• Skills in developing responsive user interface components
• Full software development life cycle experience
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Methodology

Additional advantages would be:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK/CDKTF
• Understanding of scalable application design principles
• Deployment and monitoring experience in AWS or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Server Side templating languages like Pug, EJS, etc
