***To provide executive level administrative support to a Bio-Techne executive by performing a wide range of duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature. Responsible for a variety of administrative support.

This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the Vice President, EMEA. You will provide support in scheduling and coordination of internal and external meetings and conferences. In additional to special projects as needed. Other duties will include answering non-routine correspondence and working with highly confidential and sensitive information. As a key administrative support for this team, your contributions will be critical in nature.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage correspondence and communications on behalf of the VP, providing routine information within the scope of authority.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage extremely confidential details and assignments in an ethical manner.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel schedules for executive management and prepare travel itineraries as needed.
  • Proactively manage and prioritize multiple commitment calendars personal and professional.
  • Assist in company meeting/conference rooms along with room setup requests.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, presentations, and related materials for onsite executive staff and guests.
  • Ensure that the technology and content required for meetings and presentations, are set up in a timely manner.
  • Process expense reports in accordance with company procedure.
  • There may be occasions where you are required to travel with the VP both domestically and internationally.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years of senior administrative assistant experience supporting an Executive or Director with higher education preferred.
  • This position requires the ability to deal with and protect highly confidential information. Must be selfmotivated and possess a high degree of integrity.

  • Ability to communicate professionally, oral and written.
  • Demonstrates high level of interpersonal and professional skills to respond with sensitivity and a sense of urgency to requests.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage change and adapt work style and processes accordingly.
  • Advanced complex calendar management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively plan and/or solve for.
  • Knowledge of the systems, products, and services of Bio-Techne.
  • Demonstrates Skill in planning, identifying, and organizing action steps to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to be flexible by adapting decisions or actions to facilitate the most productive work environment.
  • Ability to act independently in determining methods and procedures on new assignments or projects efficiently in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to make effective decisions and execute an appropriate course of action considering all relevant variables.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict by collaborating with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, rationale, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Board, employees, vendors, business leaders, and others.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and perform at a highlevel accuracy.
