What you'll be doing:

• Provide a professional Project Management service across capital investment projects and programmes
• Focus of the role will be leading delivery of capital investment projects, from inception and requirements capture, acceptance testing and through to operational handover using the agreed process
• Generating business cases with support from the wider team for review and approval
• Engaging with and coordinating a multifunctional team and internal stakeholders in order to maximise successful project execution whilst also supporting longterm investment planning activities
• Monitor and report project/programme performance for schedule, financial and quality objectives
• Use problemsolving techniques to proactively overcome project issues and manage risks and opportunities
• Ensuring that work packages/ tasks adhere to the Operational Framework and LCM Mandates

Your skills and experiences:

• Degreelevel qualification (engineer discipline preferred) or comparable experience
• Project Management experience, ideally from similar industry (Defence).
• Formal training in Project Management, with knowledge of scheduling, cost management, and risk software tools (e.g. MS Project & Predict), as well as experience of SAP are preferred
• Experience of working in a safetycritical manufacturing environmental and awareness of production processes are an advantage
• Willingness to undertake occasional travel to other sites, UK and overseas dependent on the project

The Capital Investment team:

The individual will be exposed to a variety of capital projects, ranging from quick-paced initiatives that allow for a rapid view of the investment lifecycle to long-term projects that span 18 months to 2 years.

This broad role involves interfacing with numerous stakeholders across the business, fostering their professional development.
