Our Senior Healthcare Support Workers (SHCSWs) form an essential and well-respected part of our healthcare teams across a number of dynamic settings; out in the community, in our acute hospitals or within our theatres teams to name just a few.

You will be a valued member of the team through our comprehensive training and induction programme and our commitment to learning and development will satisfy even the most ambitious person.

The team Exeter Neonatal Unit.

We have a very spacious, purpose-built unit with 26 cots. You will join a highly skilled, motivated and supportive neonatal team. We are very proud to have been awarded Gold standard by UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative and achieved BLISS Baby Charter accreditation. There are many training and development opportunities available to support the personal and professional development of all staff.

We are looking for Band 3 Senior Neonatal Support Workers who will help to deliver direct care to our neonatal patients & their families (full job description attached).

Do you have a strong belief in Family Integrated Care and enjoy working in partnership with parents?

Do you have a full practice-based level 3 Childcare qualification OR equivalent experience of working with babies & families, and would like the opportunity to explore the dynamic environment of neonatal care?

Working Pattern: We care for our patients around the clock so we will need you to work a range of shift patterns. All shifts are hours with an hour break. Day shifts are between and 8pm and night shifts are to 8am.

Depending on your shift pattern and working hours, you may also receive additional enhancements to your pay.
