We are looking to recruit an Assistant Houseparent to support the Houseparent (HP) in the safe, orderly and effective running of the House throughout term times.
Reporting directly to the Head of Boarding, this is a diverse role working closely with other team members to ensure that each child is encouraged to develop into a self-confident, caring individual.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with the requisite skills to join a small, friendly team and make an important contribution to the ongoing success of the school.
We're looking for someone educated to a minimum of SQA Higher level (or equivalent). This role is about being proactive and using your initiative when opportunities arise. You will need resilience, patience, clear-sightedness, compassion, strength and an unfailing sense of humour. However, this role is one of the most rewarding roles in the boarding school environment.
