Job Title: Foundation Year 2 Doctor at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board

We are seeking an enthusiastic Foundation Year 2 Doctor to join our team for the following rotations:

• Care of the Elderly > Paediatrics
• Respiratory > Emergency Medicine > Acute Medicine
• Care of the Elderly > Dermatology > Paediatrics

Main Duties:

The Foundation Year 2 Doctor will participate in ward rounds, clinics, and the operating theatre. They will also be required to assist in emergencies and unforeseen situations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Essential: MB ChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Desirable: Additional Qualifications like BSc, MSc, PhD, or equivalent, along with academic achievements such as prizes, publications, presentations.

Eligibility:

• Essential: Full GMC Registration

Fitness to Practise:

• Essential: Must be up to date and fit to practice safely

Knowledge and Achievements:

• Essential: Must have achieved a suitable level of core competencies and be involved in audit and research

Educational & Personal Aspects:

• Desirable: Should demonstrate educational and personal motivations for joining this foundation programme

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

• Essential: Should be proficient in written and spoken English, with evidence of good communication, patient care focus, and teamwork skills
