As a Drama Teacher at Teaching Personnel - Manchester South Secondary branch, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Drama lessons to secondary school students. Your duties will include creating and implementing schemes of work up to GCSE level, effectively engaging students of all ages in Drama activities, and maintaining a professional and punctual approach at all times.

Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary Drama
Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field is required.

Experience:

Prior experience teaching Drama to secondary school students is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to deliver schemes of work up to GCSE level
  • Able to effectively engage students of all ages in Drama activities
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Highly professional with strong Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in Performing Arts or Drama Education are desirable.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working full-time hours on a contract basis in a secondary school setting in Sale, Greater Manchester. You will be expected to adhere to the school's policies and procedures and work collaboratively with other staff members.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
