JOB SUMMARY

  • Preparing and presenting hot and cold food to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Serving drinks including barista style drinks
  • Offer customer excellence, attentive and excellent customer service to ensure repeat
custom and customer loyalty

  • Serving, clearing and cash handling
  • Ensure excellent hygiene, food quality and safety
  • Covering the Catering Leads absence, dependent on business needs
  • Support new initiatives to generate income for the hospice

Key Responsibilities
Preparing, presenting and serving hot and cold food, along with barista style drinks

  • Handling cash and operating the till
  • Up/cross selling and value add services to suit customer needs and maximise profits.
  • Adaptive to customer and situations presented to you.
  • Deliver excellent catering in accordance with the Hygiene standards.
  • Support the development of new catering opportunities to provide income generation
  • Support the development and deliver food excellence that will attract and retain customers.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are practiced in all catering areas at all times.
  • Support and work alongside volunteers.
  • Work collaboratively and creatively with the Hospice catering team to maximise opportunities.
  • On occasion safely unlocking and locking up the bistro

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary:
£10.36-£10.99 per hour
