*Full Job Description*We are looking for experienced and ambitious *PSV Mechanic *to join Arriva, based at our *Derby Depot, *a comprehensive commercial workshop with a great team ethos.


As a PSV Mechanic, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).

Our Engineering Team is a core function of our business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition.

*The role will involve: - Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards

  • Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
  • MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks
  • Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)
  • 39 hours per week Shift Work Required
*Requirements: - Qualifications for HGV/PSV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent qualification (will require confirmation)

  • A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
  • Ability to be passed fit for a preemployment medical
