Community Companions Development Worker, Dundee

35 hours per week

Salary - £22, – £25,

Do you want to be part of tackling social isolation and building social inclusion in Dundee? We're looking for an individual with fantastic community engagement skills who can join us in developing the Community Companions befriending project.

This is a volunteer led initiative where individuals are recruited and trained to be matched with adults experiencing loneliness and isolation in Dundee You will be instrumental in volunteer recruitment and training as well as providing ongoing support for those already working with those using the service. You will work with volunteers to build the capacity of the project and develop it to meet the needs of new and existing service users, as well as providing support for our intergenerational befriending work and residential social cafes.
