Hygiene Crew

Our
Dayshift Hygiene Crews carry out a variety of cleaning duties to industry standards in our site facilities, offices and factory perimeters.
Applications are invited from those who can demonstrate excellent team player skills as well as an ability to work on their own initiative.
Previous hygiene experience is highly desirable, however training will be provided.
You will ensure the
office and facilities are cleaned to a high standard, whilst being aware of those based in our offices during the day and ensuring mínimal disruption.
As this role will involve the use of chemicals and equipment, you will ideally be aware of HSE requirements and basic risk assessment.
We are looking for a 'can-do' attitude, and as there are plenty of development opportunities available that can see you progress your career, we are keen to recruit those who see this as a career path.
- Experience in working in the hygiene industry and H&S experience is desirable but not essential
- Flexible and friendly attitude
- Awareness whilst working in office environments
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- At least a basic understanding of verbal and written English
What does the job involve?
- Use of various hygiene machinery and tools and chemicals to aid cleaning
- Cleaning of toilet facilities and replenishment of stocks
- Hand washing facilities replenishment of paper towels & soap
- Stock management of cleaning materials
- Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish
- Cleaning of meeting rooms and office facilities
- Cleaning of walls, floors, and locker facilities
- Cleaning of canteen and kitchen facilities

Sunday to Thursday (38.45hrs)
Sun 06:30-16:25
Mon 06:30-17:30
Tues, Weds, Thurs 06:30-13:30
Tuesday to Saturday (38.45hrs)
Tues, Weds, Thurs 10:4- 17:30

Many people come in at Hygiene Operative level and work towards promotion to
Hygiene Controller.
Or from dayshift, a move into nightshift where you are more involved in the cleaning of our state of the art production machinery.Moves into a corporate role via a Modern Apprenticeship or promotion are sometimes available.
There is also a wealth of opportunities internally once you are on board that can take you in any direction you wish to consider.
So there are progression opportunities for everyone who has the drive and ambition to make a career at Kettle Produce.
Essentials to Consider
Non-UK Residents will be asked to supply their Home Office Share Code prior to attending any recruitment event.
We are a 364 days a year company, closed only on Christmas Day. We work bank holidays including Boxing Day.
We are unable at the present time to offer shifts suitable for students with any restricted working hours during term time (usually 20 hours).
