As a newly created contract development & manufacturing business and a market leader in small molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients, you will be responsible for driving and overseeing transformation initiatives to optimize business operations, enhance productivity, and foster innovation.

Your Responsibilities

You will:

  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to define and align the transformation strategy for the workstream ensuring it delivers the company objectives. Identify opportunities for operational improvement & growth through lean 6 sigma methodologies, continuous improvement to increase efficiencies and reduce waste.
  • Lead change management initiatives related to your transformation objectives, ensuring successful adoption and implementation.
  • Lead on reporting and developing KPIs for accurate measurement of impacts and benefits.
  • Provide leadership and effective communication at all levels to ensure stakeholders are engaged with the transformation program and identify with outcomes.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and digital solutions that can drive transformation in the workstream.
  • Increase collaboration by building strong partnerships across departments including R&D, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and synergy in transformation initiatives.

_ This is a contract role with an end of date of March 2025 or September 2025 dependent on the workstream you are aligned to._

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for forty years, located fifteen miles east of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London, within the golden triangle.

It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Flow Chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO).

Haverhill is proud to house the world's largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets.

The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.

Our Requirements
Bachelors in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences or a related field.

Proven track record of leading successful transformation initiatives within a similar industry i.e. chemicals, pharmaceuticals or manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of lean methodologies, process optimization and change management principles.
