Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber/Pipefitter to join our team. As a Plumber/Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and pipefitting components. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in welding, soldering, and using various power and hand tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances
  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes using power tools or hand tools
  • Weld or solder pipes and fittings together using appropriate techniques
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks using air pressure or water pressure gauges
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient installation of plumbing systems
  • Follow safety procedures and adhere to building codes and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter
  • Strong welding skills, including stick welding
  • Ability to build and solder pipes and fittings
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade
  • Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and components
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
  • Valid driver's license

£23.00-£26.00 per hour
