The Opportunity


As our next junior planner, you'll support the IPC Planning Manager and/or PCM in implementing and maintaining Integrated Project Controls processes for Planning, which includes producing monthly reports through intelligent information and analysis.

You'll collaborate with other disciplines of Integrated Project Controls and Project Support Functions to achieve project goals aligned with the HPC principles of trust, transparency, and teamwork.

Additionally, you'll maintain an awareness of schedule interfaces with other programs and their potential impacts.

What you will be doing

  • Maintain the schedule baseline IWS in Primavera 6 (P6) with fully logiclinked work plans aligned to the WBS and approved construction techniques.
  • Ensure contractor schedules align with HPC processes and the IWS forecast.
  • Manage daily and weekly work planning in the 4D model.
  • Perform quality checks on scheduling data.
  • Identify, analyse, and solve timerelated issues.
  • Coordinate and produce schedule reports on a defined cycle.
  • Assist in the Trend & Change process, analysing schedule impacts and generating performance indicators.
  • Adhere to project governance, scheduling standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure all project documents, especially Sensitive Nuclear Information, are correctly marked and protected per EDF policies.

Who you are


To be suitable for this position, you should have a detailed understanding of scheduling methodologies and techniques, along with a technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and construction methods within a UK context.

You must be capable of producing accurate, complete, and fully logic-linked construction plans and possess a good working knowledge of P6.

Additionally, a high level of analytical and numerical skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
