We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality & Warehouse Assistant to join our small, busy team based at our warehouse in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire.

You will be involved in the manufacturing process, and be responsible for the quality control of raw materials, work instructions and finished goods.

This role will occasionally involve travel in the UK, including when you may be required to visit production areas to monitor quality of the work and perform AQL audits.

You will be responsible for docket picking and general warehouse tasks such as picking and packing of finished goods.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your tasks will include:

  • Quality assurance and AQL of manufactured garments; occasional travel to factories in London to ensure an accurate and timely delivery of product
  • Quality assurance and AQL of all cloths, trims and sourced products in the warehouse
  • Responsible for preparation of work instructions, cloth and trims to suppliers
  • Assisting with collating the technical information required to ensure effective delivery of goods.
  • Assisting with quality improvement projects and procedures, providing support to staff, and monitoring project effectiveness
  • Assist in the investigation of consumer complaints and nonconformances, determining root cause and corrective actions necessary to prevent reoccurrence
  • Maintain close collaboration and communication with design, product development, planning, customer service, and warehousing and distribution teams.
  • General warehouse duties including picking and packing of finished goods
  • Involvement in annual stocktake activities
We are looking for someone who is flexible, highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. You must be IT literate and be able to learn to use new software. You must hold a valid UK driving license.

Full training will be provided for the role, but QA experience is preferred.

This is an entry level job with potential opportunities to progress within the team. A relevant graduate qualification or previous experience working in the fashion industry would be an advantage.

This is a full time role based on 39 hours per week.
