Kitchen Team Leader/Member


We are seeking an experienced, motivated individual to help lead, supervise and motivate our team to deliver a high standard of food preparation and service, whilst building and motivating them through a period of sustained growth.

Based in St Andrews

45 hours per week over 5 days, with paid overtime.

Rate of Pay - negotiable dependant on experience

Job Description and Key General Responsibilities

  • Production of all items, with the correct procedures and recipe, maintaining the highest of quality
  • To show full support to senior staff, the goals and ideals of the operation, working continually towards the betterment of our customer expectations
  • Manage delivery to the front of house
  • Allocation of work
  • Provide direct supervision of shift staff including: maintaining discipline, personal hygiene and appearance of staff in line with relevant policy;
  • To maintain hygiene and ensure compliance within health and safety requirements
  • To control the wastage and the costs of their section, and to meet budget specifications
  • Maintain Portion control
  • Storage of food and provisions
  • Raw ingredients quality check
  • Allocation of duties to juniors
  • Work with the company to develop menus and innovate new dishes
  • Ensure there is adequate rostering of staff to deliver the daily service and hospitality functions of the venue
  • When in charge, timely and quality service according to service specifications and customer expectations
  • Complete any other tasks reasonably requested by the General Manager

Salary:
£11.00-£13.00 per hour
