JOB DESCRIPTION_

PURPOSE:

The Production Coordinator picks and processes orders for production and dispatch.

The Production Coordinator manufactures products to a high standard according to customer requirements and ensures orders are dispatched to specific deadlines.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production

  • Monitor our order management software for new orders
  • Pick and process orders
  • Produce embroidery orders where you will learn to produce the digital artwork, frame, and run embroidery machines
  • Produce debossing orders using debossing machinery
  • Produce Laser orders from artwork using Adobe Illustrator. You will prepare the product for engraving and run the Laser engraving machine
  • Building orders for dispatch
  • Coordinate Production Administration tasks including but not limited to maintaining production worksheets, customers' artwork files, updating spreadsheets and ordering materials required for production

Dispatch

  • Dispatching orders in accordance with procedures and deadlines
  • Moving and handling stock, including loading/unloading of deliveries
  • Stock taking
  • Basics of OrderWise system maintenance including reset/reboots to maintain best operations.

Training

  • Training/mentoring and supporting new staff, including permanent and seasonal staff

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working in teams (required)
  • Confident computer skills (required)
  • Experience with embroidery machines (highly desirable)
  • Experience in production lines (desirable)
  • Full, clean UK driver's license (desirable)

  • Physically fit able to stand for long periods of time and undertake manual tasks
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail
