Step into this exciting new role as Lead Payment Support Advisor, where you'll oversee rent arrears and other housing-related debts whilst working respectfully and proactively with customers to enable them to remain in their homes.
(This is a permanent part time role working 29.2 hours per week over 5 days.)
What you'll be doing
- Assist the Payment Support Team Leader in daily management of the team
- Train, guide and mentor a team of Payment Support Advisors and Assistants whilst providing excellent leadership.
- Monitor accounts and implement collection procedures, ensuring timely customer contact and support identification.
- Make referrals to internal and external support services for customers.
- Review reports to monitor team activity and task completion efficiency.
- Prepare legal paperwork and represent Grand Union in court proceedings.
- Stay informed about best practices and suggest procedural improvements
