We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant. The role is term time only over 39 weeks.

Main Duties

  • You will be required to deliver the highest quality of education, care and preparation for all students
  • Contribute to the whole school's planning of activities with an emphasis on delivering the curriculum through the environment.
  • Experienced teaching and learning both indoors and outdoors
  • Create learning in a fun and happy way
  • Thinking of ways to learn through stimulating the mind
  • Lesson Planning and objectives to contribute to learning
  • Ideally experience with SEN
Person Spec

  • Experience working with pupils on the Autistic spectrum is desirable
  • Proven experience of working with children in an educational setting
  • Experience working with young people with special education needs or additional learning difficulties would be advantageous
  • A good level of Maths and English
  • Level 3 in supporting teaching and learning in schools is an advantage

Salary:
£18.5-23K per annum DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours Term Time only - 39 weeks per year
