Our client, an independent family run accountancy firm, are recruiting for a
part-time Accounts Administrator to join their team.


We require you to work approximately 20 hours over 4-5 days of the week (Monday - Friday) within the office.


Duties include:

  • Answering phone
  • Opening incoming post and processing/scanning and either dealing with it or passing to appropriate person
  • Franking outgoing post and taking to post box
  • Logging books received/returned
  • Updating job tracking systems
  • Scanning
  • Preparing letters
  • Greeting clients
  • Making calls as and when required
  • Credit control
  • Some less complex billing
  • Assistance with company secretarial work
  • Submitting returned documents to HMRC and Companies House
  • Carrying out procedures for new clients, preparing engagement letters and setting up agent authority
  • Setting up new client trackers and maintaining them
  • Ensuring our customer database is up to date
  • Checking deadlines and liaising with the team and clients to ensure they are met
  • Any other given tasks that may arise as directed by the Principal.
If you have used QuickBooks, Digita or virtual cabinet systems, this would be an advantage but not essential
