Job Summary:

Duties:

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately
  • Deliver orders to tables promptly
  • Assist with food preparation when needed
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal
  • Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the dining experience
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic food safety guidelines
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
  • Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for customers
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Culinary knowledge to describe menu items accurately
  • Familiarity with upselling techniques to increase sales
