Class 1 Driver
Vanta Staffing are recruiting a Class 1 Driver to work for our client in and around Birmingham. This will involve trunking work, a perfect role for drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious company.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will need to have:

  • Minimum 18 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
  • Be able to complete two runs
  • Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
  • No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)
  • Must have the correct PPE
  • HI Vis and Safety Boots

Class 1 Driver Details:

  • Salary
    :£18ph £20ph
  • Days / £21ph £23ph
  • Nights / £18ph £24ph weekends:
  • Working hours: Various shifts (Days or Nights) across seven days a week
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Duration: Ongoing work

Role of a Class 1 Driver

  • Complete trunking runs a shift; trailer swapping will be involved
  • Complete vehicle checks
  • Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
