Implement the business sales strategy & account plans.
This will enable the Business to increase its specialisation in liquid filling capabilities or whatever the Board of Directors deems to be appropriate.
Build a comprehensive understanding of our business processes and represent this to customers.Key point of contact for customer relationships ensuring exceptional customer service levels, both internally and externally.
Taking new business from enquiry to production through Trial/evaluation and strategic relationship management.
Work with all levels of the business to deliver our financial plans and Commercial strategy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Implement the Sales strategy delivering the long term objectives of the business.
Manage the new business process from enquiry through to negotiation, offer and acceptance.
Support the wider commercial function, (BD, NPD, Sales, Procurement).
Maintain pricing and commercial trackers in line with pricing policy, through the correct sign off process.
Review account plans for current & potential key customers.
Regularly review sales performance vs plan reporting variances and highlighting OTIF issues.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for use internally and externally.
Develop relationships with key existing and potential customers.
Develop marketing tools including presentations, exhibitions, & promotional activities.
Maintain an industry / market awareness.
Promote co-operation and team working with other departments.
Ensure enquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately & drive progress on their conversion to orders.
Project management and sourcing.
Any other tasks as agreed with the Commercial Director/Commercial Manager.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements
Educated to Degree Level (preferred).
Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Experience in a similar role.
Experience of food industry / sectors relevant to March Foods activities.
A willingness to learn and actively participate in the success of the business.
