A rare opportunity within an exciting industry is now available for a Junior Account Handler to join the expanding bookings department for London's most progressive Film Complex, London Film Studios and SHL lighting.

As a Junior Account Handler, you'll play a vital role in our bookings department, working closely with global brands and industry professionals to create bespoke lighting solutions.

From sourcing equipment to coordinating logistics, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless production experiences for our clients.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual looking for a rewarding dynamic position within the film industry.

Ideal for anyone looking to develop into an established Account Handler and beyond.

This role requires training within the warehouse to build equipment knowledge, followed by systems training within the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and dealing with Lighting equipment requests.
  • Building custom Lighting equipment packages tailored to client requirements.
  • Gather shoot information, call times, locations, contacts and essential information.
  • Communicate vital technical and logístical information effectively with Gaffers, Sparks, Producers, and internal teams.
  • Assist with reserving and booking X-Hires.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers.
  • Arrange logistics with producers and crew (delivery & collection times and address) for the warehouse vehicle fleet.
  • Serve as the general point of contact for SHL

Desired Attributes:

  • Sales or account handling experience in a related field.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, including Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, highpressure environment.

Essential Skills:

  • Film / Photography / Event Rental House experience
  • Ability to follow detailed processes and procedures.
  • Excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problemsolving ability under pressure (dealing with shoot led time constraints, logístical issues, shortages and kit failure).
  • Selfmotivated with a professional work ethic.
  • Strong work & time keeping ethic.

Preferred Skills (But not essential):

  • Background in film
  • Knowledge of commercial or domestic lighting equipment
  • Experience using asset management software
  • Work on your own initiative

Working Pattern:

Salary:
£29,900 Per Annum

Hours: 50 Per Week (10 hours per shift)
