As a Level 1 Social Worker within our teams, you will leverage your expertise to oversee a variety of cases, providing assessment and ongoing interventions while offering consistent support throughout the process. Working with families confronting diverse challenges, joining one of our FAST teams will expose you to a broad caseload, enabling personal and professional growth and enhancing your skills. Additionally, you will co-manage more complex cases under the guidance of seasoned Social Workers, ensuring informed decision-making in crucial moments.
Insights into the Role of a Newly Qualified Social Worker
We understand the significance of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) in your professional journey. Hence, our Newly Qualified Social Workers participating in the ASYE program receive a reduced workload to facilitate learning and growth opportunities. The structured program aims to enrich your skills, knowledge, and professional confidence.
Throughout the 12-month ASYE program, you will benefit from regular, high-quality reflective supervision sessions, undergo multiple observations involving service users and carers, complete Critical Reflection Logs to foster critical reflective practice, receive formal personal supervision, and engage in group learning sessions. These initiatives ensure you are equipped with the knowledge and training essential for completing your ASYE.
