Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin's attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Traffic Consultant & Implementation Specialist to join our MMM team.

This role will be based at our Creative London offices.


The Traffic Consultant & Implementation Specialist will play a vital role within Merlin Magic Making (MMM) as they introduce a brand-new function and way of working to our business.

You will support the Creative, Project Delivery, and Finance functions helping to deliver Merlin's accelerated growth strategy with efficient workflow, resource allocation, and timely project delivery.

Additionally, the specialist will have a background and proven experience in setting up a brand-new Traffic function in a previous organisation, especially when it comes to implementing and optimizing brand new traffic management software and tools to enhance overall operational efficiency.

This role is a 6 month FTC with a view to extend or make permanent further down the line.

About the role...

  • Understand current processes to support Global Creative Director, Director of Project Delivery, and Director of Finance
  • Use sophisticated software for endtoend process mapping and status updates
  • Establish best practice and unified approach to Traffic Management across MMM.
  • Implement new endtoend workflow system for project pipeline
  • Establish and maintain efficient traffic management system for smooth workflow and timely delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills required for navigating introduction of new function and implementing necessary changes
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to allocate resources effectively and meet project deadlines
  • Liaise with brief owners for timely delivery of briefs and confirmed budgets
  • Monitor project status, resolve bottlenecks, and proactively identify potential issues to maintain timelines
  • Adhere to established traffic management protocols, including project intake, routing, and approval processes
  • Review options for future implementation of asset management system and maintain organized project repository

About you...

  • Proven experience in traffic management at a senior level, project coordination, or related roles within a creative or advertising agency.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles, workflow management, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with the implementation of traffic management software and tools, such as project management systems, digital asset management (DAM) platforms, or trafficspecific solutions.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, using tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or business intelligence software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented mindset with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
  • Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and dynamic agency environment.
