With minimum visits of one hour, Home Instead Senior Care is an award-winning organisation.

We are a local service for older people. We provide services in the community like companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, running errands, personal care and medication reminders.

Our carers encourage, assist and stimulate our clients in a variety of daily activities to keep them independent and happy in their own homes.


You should be able to do the following:

  • Have experience in creating care plans, and preparing risk assessment for new clients and existing clients.
  • Have an understanding in detail what are the scheduling requirements of each client and details of care needs, recording medication (eMARs), identify the gaps between visits and trainings required for caregivers.


Responsible for Audit
  • Organising, maintaining, and auditing our files on ACP & folders (Clients and Caregivers) & on policies and regulations from National Office.
  • Presenting to external CQC and Home Instead National Office auditors during surveillance and recertification
  • Regularly reviewing internal compliance to policies and control requirements
  • Prepare and present updates to Management team on progress, risks and issues identified during audit activities
  • Keep all related documentation up to date and accurate across group for both clients and caregivers.
  • Communicate with other team members any issues discovered with clients or caregivers.

Requirements:

  • Driver (due to nature of work).
  • Friendly and warm personality
  • Experience in preparing care plans, doing assessment, auditing and CQC compliancerelated work.
  • You have to deal with different types of people keeping calm during times of high pressure, esp. dealing with clients, District nurses, OT and family members etc.
  • Customer orientated (clients and caregivers): great phone manners, patient on the phone and professional. Able to deal with difficult people.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, on the go environment.
  • You are results driven, able to do multiple tasks and orientated towards growth.
  • Minimum required skills: average typing speed, basic computer skills, average knowledge of Microsoft office, able to quickly learn new software.
  • Proven time management skills.
  • You have high standards for your work.
  • Teamwork: we need each other to be successful.
  • Available to be oncall either on weekdays or weekends (if needed)
