We are looking for a full time Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team at our Cadder Pharmacy.


A pharmacy delivery driver is a key part of the pharmacy team, delivering medication to patients homes, care homes and collecting prescriptions from GP surgeries.

We want an ambassador for M&D Green to deliver this essential service for our patients.


Delivery drivers might be the only person a patient may interact with that day therefore, a friendly, positive attitude is necessary.

You will be required to undergo a disclosure check to protect vulnerable individuals and those with disabilities. You will also need to have a full, clean UK Driving Licence.


Vehicle maintenance is a key part of the role, and should be maintained to a standard expected of professional pharmaceutical delivery service.

Whilst working as part of a great team,
some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Delivery of medication to our patients and care homes from our Pharmacies
  • Collecting prescriptions from GP surgeries and delivering them to our Pharmacies in a safe and timely manner
  • Take a pride in your appearance and wear Company Uniform at all times
  • Complete the Driver's Manual which is retained within each Company vehicle which includes daily vehicle checks and completion of all paperwork
  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner at all times
  • Undertake relevant GPhC approved training
  • Log and record deliveries on handheld tablets to enable the Pharmacies to track medication

You will need:

  • Clean driving licence
  • Great communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

From £10.70 per hour
