Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an experienced, career focused Credit Controller on behalf of a successful distribution business based in the Goole area.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Chasing overdue debt
- Maintain a clean ledger, minimise overdue debt; and maximise cash receipts
- Meet cash targets set by line manager
- Identifying causes for payment delays, assessing the feasibility of claims and making proposals for customised payment arrangements
- Collect interim payments and withhold goods
- At least 2 years' experience within a Credit Control environment
- A capability to solve problems
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
