JOB TITLE: WORK PACK ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take personal responsibility for safety following Petrofac's Eight Golden Rules.
  • Uphold Petrofac Values in daily tasks.
  • Author work packs including various elements like Risk Assessments, Job cards, and more.
  • Ensure all project requirements are met within work packs.
  • Develop work scope estimates and document changes.
  • Offer technical assurance based on previous project learnings.
  • Collaborate with Design and Construction Teams for optimal project execution.
  • Identify resources, specialists, and vendors needed for tasks.
  • Conduct necessary offshore surveys.
  • Monitor work pack progress and ensure completion.
  • Review and approve work packs before handover.
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures and standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Managers.
  • Prior offshore experience is a must for this role.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Experience in FEED/ Detailed Design and EPC projects.
  • Understanding of other engineering disciplines.
  • Familiarity with international equipment specifications and codes.
  • Knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures.
  • Experience in offshore assets decommissioning and rig interface.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with 5 years in Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Strong Coordination and Communication skills.
  • Proactive and Team-oriented.
  • Deadline-oriented with multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate work pack deliverables effectively.
  • Responsive to travel requirements as per project needs.
