Vehicle Body Builder Apprentice

We currently require an apprentice to learn all aspects of truck body building, on a permanent basis.

This apprenticeship will involve a two year welding & fabrication course at Leicester College.

Key responsibilities:

  • Fit and assemble components using hand tools and portable power tool as required.
  • Rear and understand technical specification sheets.
  • Measure and cut steel and wood along with installing floors and fixtures.
  • Install electrical wiring for lights and other equipment according to specified procedures.
To be successful for the role, you ideally will possess the following:

  • Excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn and self-motivated to perform.
  • Reliable and committed.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Highly Motivated.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
