In our Private Client team, we have two STEP qualified Lawyers, providing an extra level of specialism to advise on complex tax planning arrangements, the administration of business interests and will trusts.

The role

We have exciting plans to grow our Private Client team over the next 3 years to meet the ever-growing demand for our services.

The role is a senior position, at Associate or Managing Associate level, with real prospects for progression to Partnership. The successful candidate will be given responsibility for managing their own caseload covering all aspects of private client work such as Wills, Probates, LPAs, Court or Protection, Trusts and Estate Planning and will be involved in developing our enthusiastic team of junior lawyers.

Required experience, skills and attributes

Applicants for these roles must be qualified lawyers and have demonstrable recent experience working within a private client department together with at least 4 years of PQE. The successful candidate will be STEP qualified.

The main attributes we are looking for, but will not be limited to, are:

  • being pro-active in terms of managing your workload and continual development of your own legal skills;
  • showing exceptional attention to detail;
  • a proven ability to meet targets on a consistent basis;
  • strong communication and client care skills;
  • having an aptitude to develop your own career, the private client department and the wider firm.
