Your future employer is an American Fortune 500 holding company specializing in electrical distribution and services. They have a new EMEA operating office in central Chesterfield and are looking to expand their Credit team with a proactive Credit Analyst. The company provides excellent training in Credit Analysis and offers the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues to enhance your skills rapidly.

As part of the role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of geographical accounts in a strategic manner. While the position involves primarily phone communication and email follow-ups, it is not a typical call center job. Building relationships with clients and internal teams is essential for success.

On a daily basis, you will engage with customers, collaborate with the sales team, analyze credit data, and reconcile accounts to support audits. Monthly tasks include evaluating Accounts Receivable performance and implementing enhancements.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Credit Control/Credit Analysis, preferably with some years of experience. Knowledge of account reconciliation and finance methodologies is advantageous. Proficiency in Excel (V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables, etc.) is required, although the Manager is willing to provide training in finance concepts.

The key qualities sought for this role include proactivity, relationship-building, problem-solving abilities, continuous learning, honesty, hard work, and adaptability. Possessing a CICM qualification would bolster the department's CICMQ accreditation.
