An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit to our Psychosexual Medicine and Therapy Service.

We have permanent funding for a part time Band 7 Psychosexual Therapist and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced COSRT accredited therapist to our team.

The Psychosexual Medicine and Therapy Service is part of the CWP Specialist Mental Health portfolio.

The service is a small supportive group of staff and is committed to supporting the development of clinical and professional practice in psychosexual medicine and therapy.

We offer an integrated therapeutic approach taking referrals from healthcare professionals working in primary and secondary care.


The service has adapted and developed during the pandemic and are able to deliver services remotely as well as a face to face offering.

Flexible and remote working will continue as part of the service offer.


We work with couples as well as individuals in the service and are always keen to develop services for our clients in accordance with the evidence base and best practice.


The successful applicant will offer assessments and treatment programmes for individuals and couples, referred to our service, with complex sexual and relationship problems.


CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
