Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom University of Cambridge Full time

The Office of Scholarly Communication wishes to recruit a Scholarly Communication Support to join our team in providing friendly and efficient support to researchers, administrators and librarians across the university.

The Office of Scholarly Communication is based at the University Library.

A key responsibility of the role-holder is to provide effective support for researchers by uploading article submissions to the University's institutional repository, Apollo.

They will be responsible for checking that submissions meet funder requirements and will also provide helpdesk support to researchers, fielding queries relating to funding and funder policies on a regular basis.

The role holder will also occasionally work on the deposit of books, book chapters, theses, datasets and other research outputs into the repository.

The role incorporates other tasks such as occasional secretariat and technical support for meetings and events, preparation of materials for the newsletter, assisting with outreach activities and a range of activities that arise as part of a dynamic and fast changing environment.

Interviews are expected to be held on the week commencing 11th December 2023.

The University has a responsibility to ensure that all employees are eligible to live and work in the UK.
