The team has a wide, varied and interesting remit across Undergraduate, Foundation and Secondary Care within Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education (PMDE).
This role is one of nine Administrative roles, providing support to others within the team, and to stakeholders such as postgraduate doctors in training, consultants, colleagues in other departments and in NHS Hospital Trusts.
We spend time on induction and training, so you'll join a team ready to support you and keep you motivated.
We are a busy team, so if you're looking for a role that will keep you busy and challenged, you've found one- Provide support and advice to postgraduate doctors in training and educators (consultants) relating to our business processes.
- Utilise systems such as course booking systems and financial software packages to support the business of the team (eg event management, processing invoices and raising purchase orders).
- Support School Board meetings including premeeting preparation, recording actions and outcomes during the meeting, and distributing the notes afterwards. This also includes maintaining accurate records of membership lists/data sources.
- Provide support to Postgraduate Specialty Schools and others in the team with event management, from start to finish including booking venues using existing systems, manage the bookings, communications and attend on the day (virtually or facetoface as applicable
