Head of Marketing - maternity cover


The Head of Marketing will play a key leader role within the business, taking responsibility for promoting the brand and building a strong viable strategy that will expand its reach even further.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you'll be pivotal in building our brand presence.


You will lead a team to ensure effective marketing of our brand, promotion of our products to new and existing audiences and increase enquiries.

Key responsibilities will include overseeing marketing strategy, managing our digital presence and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing activities.

The Head of Marketing role is based in our H.Q in the heart the Black Country. This is a friendly, welcoming workplace with regular social events and a lively and dog friendly space.

Duties

  • Own the execution of the brand and its identity, both internally and externally
  • Oversee all marketing activities, including collateral, content, assets, campaigns, partnerships, promotions and advertising
  • Develop, implement and deliver the marketing strategy and objectives
  • Improve the existing level of Customer Enquiries both on and offline
  • Work cross functionally with heads of departments and their teams across various functions
  • Measure ROI and KPIs; prepare and manage marketing budgets, maximise expenditure, monitor campaigns and results and produce reports
  • Overseeing progression of our social media channels
Skills/Requirements

  • Copywriting experience is essential
  • Experience in PR & Comms
  • Experience and understanding of what it takes to build a strong brand persona and identity
  • KPI and target driven
  • Visionled and able to translate that vision into actionable strategies
  • Able to define and map out a strategy for growth
  • Knowledge and experience of executing traditional marketing is essential as well as detailed experience in Digital Marketing
  • Experience in SEO
  • Understanding of CRM and keen attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and reporting capabilities to track campaign achievements
  • A passion for Marketing and an awareness of key trends in multichannel marketing
  • A core understanding of paid marketing platforms and handson digital experience with PPC, SEO and Social Media strategies
  • Handson experience setting up Ads and providing analysis reports
  • Strong project management skills
  • A proactive, reliable, responsible and organised approach, with a keen attention to detail
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Experience using Wordpress to design and manage websites, preferred
  • Educated to Degree level at a minimum

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months with a possibility of extension

Salary:
Negotiable depending on experience
