Key responsibilities as a Customer Service Advisor:

  • Answer incoming calls to the service department and ensure all customers receive a follow up call after visiting the dealership, ensuring all ongoing queries are handled.
  • Weekly focus on customer satisfaction and maintaining this throughout all customer interactions both on the phone and in person.
  • Greet customers on arrival and for handovers and keep them informed on a daily basis of any pending work.
  • Create bookings for service, MOT and repair work.
  • Upselling where possible of various offers, plans and products.
  • Liaise with other departments within the dealership to uphold smooth communication and day to day business.

Required skills as a Customer Service Advisor:

  • Excellent customer service skills with an understanding of working with a similar role.
  • Highly organised and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work well within a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly strong telephone manners.
  • IT and computer literate and previous knowledge working with different systems.
