Overview:

Duties:

  • Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling and tracking shipments
  • Utilise Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems for efficient communication with carriers
  • Manage logistics operations, working closely with thirdparty logistics providers (3PL)
  • Utilise AS400 software for data entry and tracking of shipments
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including FDA regulations for transportation of goods
  • Support sales management by assisting in lead generation and negotiating transportation rates

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics and transportation coordination
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in using AS400 software for data management
  • Knowledge of sales management principles for effective negotiation with carriers
