We are looking for a male **support worker to work in our Greenwich community services based in New Eltham. You'll be working with an autistic adult and their family in a range of environments that support the service users' needs.

Your role includes:

  • Develop individuals' life skills, vocational, educational and creative skills
  • Help provide exercise, leisure and recreational opportunities
  • Transforming lives and achieving results for Autistic Adults

A full UK driving licence and ability to drive an automatic car (provided) is essential. Familiarity to New Eltham and surrounding area is also essential in order to help individual's access the community. Sleep - ins are paid at an additional premium of £50 per night and will be required as a part of this role. These will be shared amongst the team at the service.


Ideally, you will have a background in supporting autistic people if not, we have a fantastic training programme that will get you on your way to achieving a fulfilling job that will beat most out there.


The service offers a varied working pattern over a seven-day rota which includes weekends, nights and bank holidays to suit your work/life balance.

Job Description:

Salary - The role is offered at 37 hours per week and
£23,608.56 per annum (inclusive of location allowance). Overtime is paid at an enhanced rate of £11.94 per hour

Successful applicants will be required to complete the relevant safeguarding checks.

We currently have an occupational requirement for male only applicants for this position as the support package involves male personal care.
