Jigsaw seeks - 2 part time Weekend Family Workers
(8 -16 hours) working 2 days a week -Saturday's and Sunday's.


Jigsaw Visitors Centre is an independent charity which works in partnership with HMP Wealstun to support families whilst visiting their loved ones in custody.

We focus on providing information, advice, support, and sign-posting ~ all aimed at encouraging people to improve their lives, both whilst in custody and on transition back into the community.


- 2 Weekend Family Workers needed hours)

Saturday & Sunday 8.15am - 4.45pm

Salary £20,812 FTE (Actual Salary £9,001)

The Jigsaw Visitors' Centre is looking to appoint someone to provide family support in the Visitors Centre through welcoming visitors, providing face to face support, and also providing information for first-time visitors, working with children in the play area in the Visits Hall, helping with the organisation of other family events within HMP Wealstun and support other areas of the family services delivery when required.

Closing date is
Monday 4th December 2023 at 12.00 Noon
Interview Date is Monday 11th December 2023.
Start date will be 1st February 2024 due to prison service security clearing process

This role is based in the UK. Employment is conditional on confirmation of the right to work in the UK - either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa.
