Key Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for supporting the desk with daily trading activities in REPO, Cash and CP, managing firm wide funding requirements and resolving client queries
  • Managing multientity funding requirements via Triparty and TSL, analyzing assets versus collateral schedules ensuring efficient allocation, projecting triparty cash requirements to Treasury
  • Agreeing and reconciling TSL exposure figures with clients
  • Supporting clients on Commercial Paper flows (new issuance, platform set up)
  • Monitoring failing trades, reporting details to desk and support partners
  • Processing returns and recalls, liaising with and implementing broker requests
  • Creation of daily balance sheet reports
  • Facilitating cross asset trades including structured XCCY repo and basis trades
  • Resolve queries for the trading desk and related support partners
  • Work with support partners to make necessary amendments to trades
  • Business and product enablement (partner trading, sales)
  • Build and maintain relationships across senior business leads and support partners

The Team


The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.


Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.


Core Skills

  • Experience of working with Fixed Income products, preferably from a Trading Support or Middle Office environment
  • Knowledge of REPO products & Tri-Party Funding
  • Exposure to IR derivatives & Exchange traded products
  • Working knowledge of current regulatory landscape (SFTR, MIFID2, CSDR)
  • Technology literate competent user of MS Excel
  • Inquisitive and analytical mindset
  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands within
  • Able to operate successfully in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent Operational Risk awareness
