Senior Consultant

Role Context:

Worley Consulting is seeking a Consultant to work within our Chemicals & Fuels practice. The candidate(s) will be a member of the team providing strategic consulting services to the refining, chemicals and financial sectors. The role will initially be focusing predominantly in petrochemical sector but have exposure to all sectors as opportunities arise.

The experienced candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of more than one of the following activities:

· Techno-economic feasibility studies,

· Process technology and/or Operations,

· Project implementation and monitoring,

· Capital investments.

The role provides opportunities to tailor bespoke services to suit a diverse set of clients, working to deliver services, participating in business development and to be a key member of the practice.

You'll be:

Proactively provide support and assistance

Operate the "sell and do " model.

· Support the delivery of feasibility studies for major greenfield / brownfield petrochemical investments;

· Assistance to specialist teams with transaction advisory activities;

Support sales and client engagement pre-contract activities including coordination with back-office team ;

· Assist with teams marketing and business development activities for consulting services and support the growth of the business.

· Support with the preparation and delivery of thought leadership papers at domestic and international events

· Support with the preparation of proposals, execution plans and budgets.

You'll have:

· Strong self-starter and motivated to succeed;

· Practical consulting experience – including scoping, selling and delivery;

· Experience of Chemicals and/or Fuels technologies;

· Excellent communication skills including ability to produce concise reports and presentations appropriate for all levels;

· Confidence to work at all levels of a client organisation;

· Desire to expand role and be adaptable to client's needs;

· Supports a continuous improvement culture and identifies gaps, develops work processes, tools and methodologies to drive productivity and growth.

The candidate should ideally also be able to demonstrate experience in one or more of the following services areas:

· Feasibility and configuration studies,

· Process understanding and modelling,

· Industry competitiveness/awareness,

· Refinery-petrochemical integration,

· Technology vendors/licensors, evaluation and selection

· Petrochemical asset operations,

· Financial analysis.

· Technical due diligence.
