Transport - Undertaking General transport, Freight Forwarding and Warehousing

Heavy Lift & Projects - Heavy transport, Lifting & Project management

Marine - Vessel Chartering operations, Port and Ships Agency service

Consulting - Undertaking Route surveying, site access studies & reporting

The Company specialise in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Heavy Engineering, Renewables and Civil & Infrastructure markets, transporting and moving difficult loads UK & Worldwide
They operate from their 5-acre site in Halifax, 10-acre site in Goole & 6-acre site in Grangemouth.

Forwarding Clerk / Manager - The Role:

  • Working as part of the 'operations' team, this appointment will work closely with our International Projects manager and report to the Senior Projects Manager
  • Assisting and dealing with the pricing, planning & scheduling of European Road transport and Global Freight forwarding operations owning consignments on a start to finish basis
  • Managing operations on a costeffective basis
  • Work with the warehouse / yard teams to check cargo that transits via our facility

Forwarding Clerk / Manager - You:

  • Minimum 2 years + experience in a Freight Forwarding / European Road Freight environment
  • Full clean driving license
  • Demonstrate ability to complete tasks, with attention to detail.
  • Have a good understanding and geographic knowledge of UK and Europe
  • Ability to record and report progress & development of the task
  • High level of Computer skill and competency

Location


The role can be based at either our Goole or Halifax depot, but may be required to travel between other depots or clients in order to oversee and manage some percentage of the task.
