History Teacher

Reed Education are currently recruiting for a History Teacher for a school in Flintshire to start on a temporary to permanent basis in September.

You will have full teaching responsibility including but not limited to:

• Planning prepping and marking work
• Managing behaviour in line with school policy
• Assessing students and ensuring they are on track to hit their projected grades.
• Attending departmental meetings and school based CPD
• Conducting parents evenings.
• Any other duties as required by the department in line with your role.

To be considered for this role you must:

• Must have QTS or equivalent
• Must have recent relevant experience of teaching History to A Level.
• Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills)
• Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children
